Mad #475 (John Ficarra) - Dane Cook Issue - March 2007

I was still working in 2007 so I may have missed the Dane Cook phenomenon.  Was he a thing?  According to Imdb, Cook voiced four characters on Crank Yankers and appeared in ten movies I never saw including Flypaper, Torque and Employee of the Month.  According to Wikipedia, Cook has released five comedy albums and one of them (Retaliation) went double platinum.  Good for him.  The better articles in the issue than all things Dane Cook, were two articles written by Teresa Burns Parkhurst - "Stankee Candle Spring Catalog" drawn by Scott Bricher, and "What I Gotta Do for My Allowance" also drawn by the versatile Ms. Parkhurst.  What better way is there to set the mood in a room than with a scented candle spewing the odor of "flatulent pony"?  [JAM 11/1/2014]
