Mad #313 (Nick Meglin and John Ficarra) - Rick Tulka Issue - September 1992

Artist Rick Tulka does not get the credit he deserves.  His lines are distinctive and his shadings are nicely placed.  In Desmond Devlin's "The ABC's of Rock," Mr. Tulka was given the opportunity to display his ability to produce caricatures.  His drawings of Elton John, Rod Stewart, Paula Abdul, Quincy Jones, Cyndi Lauper, Peter Townshend, Roger Daltrey, James Brown (1933-2006), David Crosby, Madonna, Bob Dylan, Sinead O'Connor, Janet Jackson, Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Cher, Whitney Houston (1963-2012), Billy Joel, Prince, Fat Elvis (1935-1977) and others are as good as any.

Bill and Hillary Clinton make their first Mad appearance in "Evening Shame." [JAM 3/8/2012]
